Chaperone Prom
Prom Chaperone Volunteers
We are looking for parent volunteers to help make our Homeschool Prom a safe, organized, and memorable evening for our students. Chaperones serve as part of the Prom team and help ensure the event runs smoothly from beginning to end.
Requirements:
• Must be a parent of an attendee or at least 30 years old and a relative of a Prom attendee
Arrival:
• Required Orientation Meeting – 5:30 PM
• Chaperones should plan to arrive on time to receive instructions and assignments.
What to Expect:
• Dress in semi-formal attire (or all black) and wear comfortable shoes.
• Chaperones will rotate through several areas during the evening, helping with tasks such as greeting students, assisting with check-in, monitoring activity areas, and providing general support where needed.
• Volunteers should plan to stay for the full event and help briefly with closing tasks at the end of the evening.
Chaperones play an important role in making Prom a special night for our students. Thank you for being willing to serve in this way.
